New to Brewing?

Starting out as a simple craft beer blog, we were complete beer newbies. Pretty soon after we began brewing our own, and this is where the fun began.

Beer brewing is daunting for a newbie, with tons of information online. From big-batch concentrates that left us with 50 mediocre beers, to tricky 12-step, all-grain recipes that made brewing a rocket-science experiment.

It was then we realised there was a need for simple brewing, in kitchens small and large across the land.

Equipped with a simple beer making process, using the “Brew-in-a-Bag” (BIAB) method, and some home-crafted beer recipes, we launched Bottle Topped in Spring 2020.

Since launch, we’ve been on a fantastic journey. We love to hear feedback from our brewing community to keep us on our toes.
